SOAR unveils 2010 plans

Western Ontario road racing group SOAR has announced details of a six-race 2010 schedule at Toronto Motorsports Park with a purse of $73,700 up for grabs.

According to a release from the organization, SOAR will pay every class at every round of the 2010 season.

"This is over and above manufacturers and tire contingency making SOAR the richest Ontario race series," the release said.

The schedule at TMP is as follows:

Round #1 May 7-9
Round #2 June 11-13 (W/Endurance) Reverse Direction
Round #3 July 9-11 (W/Endurance)
Round #4 Aug. 6-8 (Reverse Direction)
Round #5 Sept. 10-12 (W/Endurance)
Round #6 Oct. 15-17 (W/Endurance)

There is also the possibility of a Dash for Cash at a new facility next year. This would be a non-points paying event but would include a large purse, according to SOAR.
