1971 Ford Mustang Modified

The Ford Mustang Mach 1 was a performance model of the Ford Mustang that Ford produced beginning in 1969. The original production run of the Mach 1 ended in 1979 because the Mustang II coupe was being phased out in favor of newer Mustangs on the Fox body platform.

Regardless of the specific power plant, the lines of the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback cannot be mistaken, nor underestimated. Conceived at what was arguably the height of Ford’s powers of concentration on the performance car market, and though the moment was ultimately to be short lived, the products of this brief time constitute among the most important and sought after vehicles of the entire muscle car movement.

Finished in painfully attractive Raven Black with exceptional red Corinthian vinyl interior, this astonishingly restored 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Fastback has been completely rotisserie restored and features: Freshly rebuilt 351cid Windsor V8, with flat top pistons, new Holly carburetor, new Edelbrock intake, stock FMX automatic transmission, fresh bushings and suspension components, fresh interior, and more.

This remarkable Mach1 will be the centerpiece of any Mustang event, is in superb running order, and is as stunning in the garage as it is on the green, or in the valet parking lane. For those seeking among the most finely refinished Mach 1s available today, and a piece which will provide memories for your children like those provided for you—the moment has arrived.
