From the Toronto Motorcycle Show

TORONTO, ON -- Motorcycle enthusiasts wait no longer – the upcoming Toronto Motorcycle Show from Dec. 10-12 at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre is sure to get your motor running with its much anticipated lineup of new models for the 2011 season.

The Metro Toronto Convention Centre will host the Toronto Motorcycle Show, one of seven Canadian motorcycle and ATV shows owned by the Motorcycle & Moped Industry Council (MMIC) and Canadian Off-Highway Vehicle Distributors Council (COHV). The Toronto Show is the Canadian motorcycle and ATV industries’ official launch of its cross-Canada tour where the leading manufacturers and distributors offer the riding community a first glimpse of their new 2011 models.

Canada’s premier motorcycle show promises the latest in motorcycles, ATVs and scooters from over 150 exhibitors including BMW, BRP, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Hyosung, Kawasaki, KTM, Polaris, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, Triumph, Victory and Yamaha.

“We are really excited about this year’s show. It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the newest models to a targeted audience who knows their stuff. We bring the best of the best in motorcycles from the world’s leading manufacturers,” said Bob Ramsay, President of MMIC.

Join the adventure as 33-year-old Canadian BMW rider Rene Cormier tells the story of how he politely removed himself from the working world and cashed in what few possessions he had to finance a $25 a day, three-year, 154,000km motorcycle trek through 41 countries. Rene will be presenting all weekend at the Full Throttle Stage.

The Toronto Motorcycle Show is proud to present SHE RIDES NITE on Friday, Dec. 10 offering free admission for the ladies after 5:00pm. With more women becoming involved in the sport and motorcycle industry, SHE RIDES NITE is an industry-sponsored evening for women who ride or are considering taking up the sport.

Yamaha Canada and Canadian Motorcycle Training Services present a free opportunity for kids aged 6-12 (certain conditions apply) to learn to ride on the latest Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycles.

Rider Nation features an extensive variety of riding groups, associations, and weekend race events, charity rides and outings that motorcyclists from all walks of life can enjoy. It encompasses a wide spectrum of activities open to all riders.
