From the Atlantic Roadracing League
HALIFAX, NS – Atlantic Roadracing League (ARL) is pleased to announce it will be offering specials at each round of the Atlantic Superbike Championship to local motorcycle clubs throughout Nova Scotia and the Maritimes.
Atlantic Motorsport Park has always been a great destination for camping, picnics, or as a meeting place to watch some of the best motorcycle racing in the country. In keeping with this tradition the Atlantic Roadracing League hopes to encourage local riding clubs to take a Saturday or Sunday ride to Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, NS for lunch while taking advantage of watching some of the best riders and machines in the region compete for various championships from Vintage to Superbike.
For the 2009 Season ARL will offer a free lunch to Club riders showing up on their specific club days. Members will simply need to show up with their identification card, or crest and they will be provided a free lunch ticket.
Specator Fees are $20 per weekend (which includes camping) and all club members are encouraged to join the ARL at all its events, not just the one specific to their club.
Round One: May 16–17, Club Days: East Coast Ducati Owners Club, BMW Owners of Nova Scotia
Round Two: June 20–21, Club Days: Harley Owners Group, Canadian Motorcycle Crusaders, Defenders
Round Three: July 11–12, Club Days: Blue Knights, Buffalo Soldiers, Atlantic Vintage Motorcycle Society
Round Four: Aug. 1–2, Club Days: Christian Motorcycles Association, Association of Military Motorcyclists of Canada
Round Five: Sept. 12–13, Club Days: East Coast Riders Motorcycle Club, Jokers Wild
Atlantic Roadracing League Inc is the promoter of all Atlantic motorcycle road racing action at Atlantic Motorsport Park. The Atlantic series consists of five rounds of racing. In addition to racing activities in 2009 ARL will promote High Performance Riding Schools, track days, along with “race focused” Peak performance schools.
