HardNox Racing goes west

From HardNox Racing

CALGARY, AB -- HardNox Racing has announced its participation in the 2009 Western Canadian Championship Series (WCC) which will commence in Mission, BC on May 16.

The three western Canadian motorcycle clubs, the EMRA, CMRA and WMRC, have put together the Western Canadian Championship Series to build strong racing ties across Western Canada and promote racing between the three clubs. Each club will host one doubleheader weekend.

After the Mission opener the series will continue July 11-12 at Stratotech Park in Edmonton and conclude Sept. 19-20 at Race City in Calgary.

The WCC series will include seven classes: Thunderclass/Battle of the twins, 600 Supersport (Pro and AM), Heavyweight Supersport (PRO and AM) and Superbike (PRO and AM).

HardNox Racing will enter all four riders in all six rounds. With the possibility of this being the last racing season in Calgary due to the threatened closure of Race City, HardNox has decided to expand its schedule and explore the challenges of these new venues.

HardNox Racing appreciates the support of its premier sponsors: BGPR Schools, Acceleration Racing/Hotbodies Racing, Spy Designs and Redline Motorsports.
