Pasini to get MotoGP test

From motogp.com

Mattia Pasini is set to get his hands on a MotoGP bike on Monday, following an announcement that Pramac Racing will allow him to test a Desmosedici GP9.

Pasini will use a bike left available by Mika Kallio, who has temporarily joined the Ducati Marlboro team for three races and will also test with the factory squad in Casey Stoner’s absence on Monday in the Czech Republic.

Pramac Racing team principal Paolo Campinoti explained, “This idea has come together with Ducati after it became clear that Mika’s bike would have remained without a rider in the box. Mattia has demonstrated during this season that he deserves this opportunity and for these reasons we’re happy and proud to have him with us, even if for only one day.”

Pasini himself stated, “I want to thank Ducati, Pramac Racing and Paolo Campinoti, who are giving me this magnificent opportunity to try their bike in Brno on Monday. It will be an important test for me as I will have the possibility to understand if I will be able to ride a MotoGP bike. I have always liked difficult challenges and I am ready also for this one."
