Historic weekend at Road America

ELKHART LAKE, WI -- Over 400 classic bikes will participate in the Road America Vintage Motorcycle Classic, June 11-13, an event sanctioned by the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA).

In addition to racing on the legendary four-mile circuit, three off-road courses will feature vintage and post-vintage motocross, cross-country and observed trials.

Collectors will enjoy the vintage motorcycle swap meet where they can shop for bikes, parts, literature and memorabilia from over 50 vendors. Vintage motorcycle clubs and organizations from throughout the region will be manning club corral booths, including the 2010 featured club, the Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club
(VJMC). Clubs will display their bikes, sell memberships and club regalia, and have a gathering place for members.

Tickets to the Vintage Motorcycle Classic can be purchased after 7:00am at the Main Gate on Hwy 67. Admission is $20 on Friday, $30 on Saturday and $30 on Sunday. All prices are $US. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Parking, paddock access and grandstand seating are free with every ticket. Fans are encouraged to enjoy Road America's park-like setting with on-site camping, fees apply.
