Toolee supports Tim Hortons Foundation

From Toolee Motorsports

To help raise extra funds for The Tim Hortons Children's Foundation, Toolee Motorsports along with special guest, Pro motocross racer Casondra Greene, spent a fabulous day outside the Parkdale Street North, Hamilton, ON Tim Hortons location on Tim Hortons Camp Day, last Wednesday, June 2.

On display was Parts Canada Superbike racer Lee Kuhn Jr.'s Monster Energy/Leo Vince/Pirelli Triumph Daytona 675 race bike while Lee Jr. and Casondra were very busy handing out free Inside Motorcycles magazines and Inside MotoX & Off Road stickers, signing autographed posters and talking racing with fans young and old.

Every penny made on coffee sales during Camp Day was donated to the Foundation and the kids along with the volunteer Tim Hortons staff managed to raise an additional $500 toward Camp Day with the racing display, a barbeque, break a balloon game and a book sale.

Special Thanks to Tim Hortons, Dianna Kuhn, Inside Motorcycles, Inside MotoX & Off Road, Toolee Motorsports and its sponsors, Casondra Greene Racing, Springers Meats, Across The Pond Imports, Rona (Parkdale St.), KFC (Parkdale St.), Parkdale Fish And Chips, Jean Millie's Hair Salon, Party Max, Keith Nickerson and all the volunteer staff.

The Tim Hortons Children's Foundation was established in 1974 by Ron Joyce, Co-Founder of the Tim Hortons chain, to honour Tim Horton's love for children and his desire to help those less fortunate.

The  Foundation is a non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing a fun-filled camp environment for children from economically disadvantaged homes. Year-round, local children are selected from each of the communities in which a Tim Hortons store operates, giving thousands of children the opportunity to attend one of their camps in Canada or the United States.

This year the Foundation will serve close to 14,000 children from economically disadvantaged homes. In 2009, Camp Day raised more than $9.4 million.
