Lean Angle partners with FAST school

From Lean Angle Canada

OTTAWA, ON –  Lean Angle has announced that its TechSpec Gripster and Medical Data Information Carrier System (MICS) product lines will be exhibited in conjunction with FAST Riding School at the upcoming Toronto Motorcycle Show, Metro Toronto Convention Centre, Dec. 10-12.

FAST Riding School, owned and operated by three-time Canadian Superbike Champion and Canadian Motorcycle and Motorsport Hall of Fame inductee Michel Mercier, has been an institution in the field of on-track motorcycle rider training for almost a quarter century.

The FAST Riding School, operating out of Shannonville Motorsport Park, offers six levels of instruction along with group sessions that cater to new and more experienced riders. Their roster of instructors includes many active racers as well as past National and Regional Superbike Champions.

“TechSpec Gripsters have been helping students at FAST get a grip on their machines while they are learning advanced riding techniques at the school this past season,” said Mercier.

“As a graduate of the FAST program I am very pleased to announce a new partnership with Michel Mercier and the FAST Riding School that will see the Medical Data Information Carrier (MICS) helmet system become part of the school’s overall rider safety strategy,” stated Steve Reed, president, Lean Angle Canada.

The 2” x 1” MICS personal information carrier will be affixed to each student's helmet allowing vital medical information to be immediately accessible to corner workers and first responders in the case of an emergency.

TechSpec Gripster Tank Pads and Medical Data Information Carriers (MICS) are currently available at an ever expanding dealer network across Canada. MICS dealers that have been recently added include Powersports Canada (www.powersportscanada.com) and Bluestreak Racing (www.bluestreakracing.ca).
