Calgary schools combine forces

From One-Track Mind

Kellie Sands, President of One-Track Mind, in conjunction with Brad Gavey of BGPR are proud to announce an exciting merger of Calgary's two premier high-performance riding schools.

Founded in 2006, One-Track Mind quickly has become one of the most prestigious supercharged riding schools in Southern Alberta. Originally launched with the goal of providing exclusively female track nights, Sands had expanded the evenings to include a youth program. Due to high demand, men and racers were added to the group in 2009 with overwhelming success.

BGPR was the brainchild of Gavey after watching too many riders go down after pushing too hard on the street. The goal of BGPR is to "take it to the track," and enjoy the unbelievable performance of modern sportbikes in the realm in which they were created. BGPR is all about the purity of the ride and the passion of the sport. BGPR set the benchmark for performance riding and has spawned many of Calgary's top road racers from its members.

These two flagship riding schools are combining forces for what could be the last year of Calgary's Race City Motorsports Park's long run in business. The merger now creates the most powerful force in performance riding schools in all of Alberta. With a passion for the sport and the track record of success in teaching people the skills needed to tap into the potential of the modern bike, OTM and BGPR are the riders’ choice for having the best possible experience on the track.
