TORONTO, ON -- Calabogie MotorSports Park is planning to be open for business by July, 2005, according to an email release from the facility received Thursday.
According to the email, the Council of the Township of Greater Madawaska passed the third and final reading of the re-zoning ammendment for the track on Oct. 12. "This was a significant and pivotal step towards the completion of the new road course," the release said.
The projected paving date for the track is mid to late May of next year. With a cure time of about two months for the polymer asphalt surface the track should be ready to host competition by July.
