GUTHRIE, OK -- Darcy Lange bounced back from a rough outing Friday night to score two wins on Saturday and edge closer to his second straight U.S. National Arenacross title on the weekend.
The Courtenay, BC racer also wrapped up the Dash For Cash championship with a victory in that race Saturday.
With two events left in the Arenacross season Lange holds a commanding 118-point lead over teammate Jeff Northrop, 580-462. Suzuki rider Branden Jesseman is third in points with 413. The series continues at Denver's Pepsi Centre this weekend before wrapping up in Columbus Feb. 11-12 at the Nationwide Arena.
Poor starts and crashes marred Lange's Friday night at Guthrie's Lazy E Arena and he finished eighth in the 125 main and 12th in 250.
But he won both his heats and dominated both feature races on Saturday. He now has 23 wins out of 32 features this season.
Jesseman took the 125 main on Friday while Northrop grabbed the 250.
Montreal's Marco Dube was 14th in the 125 class on Friday on his Amsoil / FXR / M2R Honda. He sits 20th in overall points with 95.
