BAIE COMEAU, QC -- Andrew Ranger opened the 2005 CMRC Ice Race National Series season with a victory in the Pro 450 main aboard his KTM.
Dominic Beaulac rode a Yamaha to the win in the Pro 250 feature while Ranger settled for fourth, hampered by a broken rear protection rack, which damaged the rear tire's studs, according to a release from KTM Canada.
KTM has become the title sponsor for the 2005 series.
In addition to his exploits on ice, Ranger recently tested a Champ Car at Sebring, FL, KTM Canada noted in its release.
