Liverpool, UK - Future West are extremely happy with the inaugural Liverpool British Supercross event. Crowds flocked to the brand new Liverpool Echo Arena on January 24-25. Friday's crowd as expected was half full with a near sellout on hand for Saturday racing action.
Despite certain media reports the event was very popular with loud fans and incredible racing action. Friday night saw the very first British Supercross Championship head to head competition which had the crowd on their feet. Several top British riders were in attendance including US rider and CAS Honda superstar Mike Brown who rode to convincing wins on Friday and Saturday night in the Pro Open finals. Suso Suzuki former British Champ Carl Nunn made his Motovision debut and looked great. Also in attendance was Canadian Colton Facciotti who rode to the win in the Pro Lights on Saturday night as well as King of Canadian Motocross Jean Sebastien Roy who made the podium both evenings. Rising British Supercross Star, PAR Homes Honda rider Ashley Greedy made himself known Friday night by collecting the cash in Friday's dramatic Head to Head competition. South African MXW rider Neville Bradshaw also rode well after returning from injury.
