Bispo scores win

CAYUGA, ON – The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s Eastern Drag Bike Series presented by Drag Specialties/Parts Canada held its third round of the Eastern series at Toronto Motorsport Park last weekend.

The fastest qualifier was Pete Thomson, racing for Rocky’s Harley-Davidson, followed by Mike Duncan who was supported by Kitchener Harley-Davidson. Chris Fox and Dave Bispo followed suit, respectively supported by Fox Harley-Davidson/Buell and Rocky’s Harley-Davidson.

While the qualifying rounds saw varying performances, the eliminatory round saw some very close wrangles, with only 100ths of seconds setting the racers apart.

The result of this was a winning Bispo, who reached a speed of 137.25 mph and finished within 9.605 seconds, and Duncan, who made the runner-up position with a track speed of 136.23 mph, with 9.653 seconds elapsed time.

On July 26, Napierville Dragway in Napierville, QC will open its gates to spectators for the fourth and second-last event of the Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association’s Eastern Drag Bike Series.
