Duff recovering from crash

By John Hopkins

Canadian motorcycle racer Michelle Duff is reportedly recovering well from a crash in last weekend's Bikers' Classic at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.

According to Inside Motorcycles correspondent Vicki Gray, who has talked to Duff by phone this week, Duff suffered a highside while riding one of the Yamahas entered by former GP mechanic Ferry Brouwer and his Yamaha Classic Racing Team.

Duff sustained a fractured skull in the accident, Gray reports, but on Tuesday was up and around in her hospital room in Belgium. She apparently has no memory of the accident, nor of talking to fellow GP legend Kel Carruthers soon afterward.

Inside Motorcycles wishes Duff a speedy recovery from her injury.
