Pro Street showdown days away

From canadiandragbike.com

Some of North America's fastest Pro Street motorcycles will be in competition at the 6th annual Suzuki Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout, next Sunday, Aug. 10 at Grand Bend Motorplex.

The Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout has long been the ultimate Pro Street motorcycle drag race in Canada, featuring the fastest heads-up, no-bar drag racing to be seen anywhere in this country. Last year Michigan ace Bud Yoder won the race and set a new event record at 7.441/197.15, the quickest and fastest Pro Street pass ever made in Canada. With $1200 going to the winner plus a $100 bonus for the first 200 MPH Pro Street pass in Canada, fans will once again witness fierce competition from both sides of the border.

This year's race is held in conjunction with the Hully Gully Summer Sizzler, making this the biggest motorcycle drag race in Ontario. The Summer Sizzler will feature the Kevin Blackmore Memorial Quick 16, Streetfighter, Superbike/Sled, Harley V-Rod Destroyer and more.
