Seven-round RACE series

RACE has unveiled a seven-round schedule for its 2009 SuperSeries at Shannonville Motorsport Park. The season will open May 1-3 on the Fabi Track and conclude Sept. 25-27 on the Pro Track.

Following the opening round on the Fabi layout events will follow May 15-17 on the Long Track, June 19-21 on the Pro Track, July 24-26 on the Long Track, Aug. 14-16 on the Nelson Track and Sept. 4-6 on the Pro Track before concluding at the end of September. The Sept. 4-6 date coincides with the final round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship at Shannonville.

The facility will also host the VRRA Vintage Road Race Festival June 5-7.

RACE Schools are scheduled for April 17 on the Nelson track and May 1 on the Fabi layout, while Test Days will be held April 18-19 on the Fabi and Nelson circuits, respectively.
