From Turn2 Motosports
FENWICK, ON – Turn2 Motosports, the parent company of the Turn2 Sportbike School, has announced the creation of its newest business unit, Turn2 Trackdays. Working with the valuable experiences learned at the Turn2 Sportbike School and listening closely to rider needs, Turn2 felt the time was perfect to launch this new company.
“We have strived to deliver the utmost in customer service and provide the best rider experience at our school. In doing so we will not fail in raising the bar of rider expectations when it comes to trackdays in Canada,” proclaimed Mike Whitter, president of Turn2 Motosports.
Turn2 Trackdays will travel to many storied tracks in Canada including Mosport International Speedway, ICAR, Autodrome St-Eustache, Atlantic Motorsports Park, Grand Bend Motoplex and Toronto Motorsports Park. Summer Canadian dates run from May to September with a planned fall line-up to be released in July 2011 that will see the team travel to the U.S.
Enhanced services offered at all Turn2 Trackday events will include full Pirelli tire services, Zoomius RFID laptiming, express registration and check-in, gourmet meal options, flexible change and cancellation policies, trackside bike rentals and trackside gear rentals. Each event will also be supported by the new Turn2 Trackside mobile retail outlet. Riders can also expect to see multi-day discounts offered at select locations, free beginner orientations, parade laps, two-up rides and an overall professional ambience that will add to the rider experience.
Turn2 Trackdays along with the Turn2 Sportbike School will also support the Canadian National Superbike Series by hosting the Promoter's Practice preceding most rounds in 2011.
“It is an honour to be associated with the National Series," stated Ross Millson, general manager for Turn2 Trackdays.
Along with hosting the National Series Promoter's Practice, Turn2 Trackdays will also host a VIP testing event with Pirelli and Orion Motorsports at Calabogie Motorsports Park in May to kick off the series.
Along with typical trackdays, Turn2 will also host evening events at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga, ON running from 5:00pm till dusk for nine Thursday nights over the summer. These “Tracknights” will have all the available services of a regular Turn2 Trackday, including gourmet meals served trackside. Riders will be able to build their meal from a menu sent prior to each event that will include healthy food choices. Riders will also be able to compete against themselves and each other as these nine events will be part of a "Time Trial" series. Participants can battle for position based on their lap times, accumulate points for the season and take home many wonderful prizes and support products.
