Pelchat back with Yamaha

Three-time Canadian ATV champion Richard Pelchat will compete aboard a Yamaha YFZ 450 under the racing colours of Splash 'n Dirt / Yamaha Canada in 2005.

The sponsorship agreement with Yamaha Motor Canada Ltd. was signed immediately following the 2004 campaign. Yamaha Canada was very impressed with Pelchat's performance throughout the 2004 national and provincial championships, and was very pleased with his amazing performance at the 12 hours endurance of La Tuque, where Team Splash 'n Dash finished an amazing seven laps in front of its closest competitor.

"I'm very proud of racing again for Yamaha Canada and I know I can get them another national championship aboard the Yamaha YFZ450," Pelchat said. "This ATV is outstanding. With the help of RP Evolution and Elka suspension, I know I have the best suspension ever. This year my SS Performance-tuned and DMC-equipped YFZ motor is a rocket, to say the least."

Shot MX will supply Pelchat with his racing apparel. Torco Oil and Torco Race Fuels will make sure the engine runs at its best.
