SX goes high def in San Fran

AURORA, IL – This weekend’s Monster Energy AMA Supercross race from San Francisco’s AT&T Park will be broadcast in high definition on CBS Sports, Sunday at Noon EST. The one-hour broadcast marks the first time in the sport’s history that fans can watch Monster Energy Supercross in high-definition technology on CBS Sports.

CBS Sports opened the 2008 Monster Energy Supercross season with a one-hour preview show and will air a total of seven high-definition broadcasts of AMA Supercross class races this year before closing out the championship with a season-recap show Sunday, May 4. The Western Regional AMA Supercross class will air on SPEED Saturday, Feb. 2 at 6:00pm.

The television team of pit reporter Erin Bates, colour analyst Jeff Emig and host Ralph Sheheen will deliver the first-ever broadcast in high-definition technology on CBS Sports.
