Racer5 offers CBR program

From Racer5

In an effort to further its commitment to growing motorcycle racing in Canada, Racer5 will be expanding its 2011 efforts. Racer5 is launching the RACER5 CBR Rent-A-Race program for all CSBK by Parts Canada events.

Beginning at Circuit ICAR May 27-29, racers wishing a taste of the national excitement will be able to show up and have access to a full race team and fully prepared CBR 125 spec machines.

“We are very excited to be launching this program,” said Fawaz Ahmed, owner of Racer5. “The CBR class has been a huge hit, and with some help from Honda, we are happy to provide customers the experience of racing in the national CBR Challenge at a low cost.”

Racers wanting to take advantage of the program will be required to have a CSBK membership and can arrange the supply of all equipment needed through Racer5. Customers will not have to purchase, maintain, or transport their motorcycles to any of the rounds.

“This is a great opportunity for novice riders wanting a taste of the national scene or even riders living a great distance away to just fly in and ride without the worry of bike transport,” stated Kevin Graham of series organizer, Frontline CSBK. “An ongoing challenge we face as a sport is to reach out to new customers and this is a great step in that direction.”

Please see the Racer5 website (www.racer5.ca) to for more information on the program and to reserve a spot.
