When TATA NANO will launch in Nepal; What is the price of TATA NANO in Nepal

Tata Nano Hatchback has just been launched in India’s neighboring country, Nepal. This is the third nation in which the Tata Nano has been launched, after India and Sri Lanka. The Tata Nano will be sold in Nepal for an estimated price of 7,98,000 Nepal Rupees or INR 5 Lakhs when converted to Indian currency.

The price definitely looks quite steep in comparison to the Indian Nano’s price but then again, that is the price the folks at Nepal need to pay due to the high import duties imposed by the Nepalese government on imported cars. All three variants of the Tata Nano Hatchback will be available for sale in Nepal. Bookings are set to be open starting today, for a ten day window after which bookings would be closed to service the orders.

The Tata Nano Hatchback will be sold in Nepal by Tata Motors’ Nepali distributor, Sipradi Trading Pvt. Ltd through 14 Sipradi owned & Sipradi authorised dealer showrooms. For its part, Tata Motors seems to be doing its best to ensure that prospective Tata Nano buyers in Nepal have no misgiving about the little car’s reliability and robustness. So, Tata will put two Nanos across an epic 40,000 kilometer journey in Nepal, through which the cars will be showcased at 15 locations.
