Shannonville to run Supermoto Series

Shannonville Motorsport Park president, Jean Gauthier has announced an eight-race supermoto series to be held at Shannonville Motorsport Park in association with R.A.C.E.

The new paved section is in place and a new dirt section has been built. With a growing interest amongst ATV riders to race supermoto they too will be included in the series. All races will be two-day events with practice Saturday followed by qualifying and racing on Sunday.

408 Racing will handle all race operations.

Dates for the 2009 Shannonville Supermoto Series are: May 23-24, June 6-7, June 27-28, July 18-19, Aug. 8-9, Aug. 22-23, Sept. 12-13, Sept. 19-20.

There will be classes for SMX Pro Open, SMX Pro 450, SMX Pro 250, SM1 Open Semi-Pro, SM2 250 Semi-Pro, Open Amateur, Beginner, Vet 35+, Sportsman, Mini, Pro Quad, Amateur Quad.
