Orosz takes Speedway title

Jeff Orosz has won the 2009 NAMU & Canadian Speedway Championship July 18 in Welland, ON.

The Caistorville, ON rider took the title by one point over Brantford, ON's Aaron Hesmer with a victory in the final race. Aaron and C.J. Hesmer placed second and third in the final, respectively and Terry Rideout of Campbellville, ON was the last finisher in the final round.

Orosz enjoyed a perfect run through his heats but Aaron and C.J. Hesmer picked up semi-final wins.
