Millson eyes Suzuki return

By Inside Motorcycles staff

Canada’s “hardest working privateer in road racing,” the much lauded Ross Millson, is struggling to put together a program for 2009.

Millson was looking for new OE equipment support, but such deals are very hard to come by for this season. So Millson is planning to build another 2007-08-era Suzuki GSX-R1000, although a spare bike is pretty much out of the question.

Injured for most of 2007, his rookie season, Millson rebounded with a successful privateer program with his Summit Gear Works-backed Suzuki in 2008, placing ninth in the feature class standings of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship with a top race finish of sixth at the Calabogie Motorsports Park season opener.
