Bike building champ returns to defend title

From SUPERSHOW Events

Fred “Rat” Vaillancourt will return to the 2011 North America International Motorcycle SUPERSHOW to defend his title during the Canada Cup competition at the International Centre, Jan. 9.

Born in Montreal in the early seventies, Vaillancourt had been building and modifying cars and bikes for most of his life. In the summer of 2000 he built his first custom bike and from there the “Rat Shop” was born. Since then, this little shop of three guys evolved to what it is today, more than 25 complete bike builds a year and hundreds of bike modifications (www.ratshopcustombikes.com).

SUPERSHOW 2011, taking place Jan. 7-9 at the Toronto International Centre, continues to award the largest prize jackpot in Canada with over $50,000 in cash and awards and attracts bikes from across Canada to compete. Best Bike in Show takes home $12,000 in cash and the Canada Cup. And now with the credentials of the IMBBA judges, all professional and accredited members of an elite team, SUPERSHOW’s Canada Cup Championship becomes one of the qualifying competitions for the 2012 World Cup Championships in Laval, QC.

Show times and information are available at www.supershowevents.com.
