Kahuna to carry Norton brand

By John Hopkins

Toronto's Kahuna Powersports will carry the Norton brand, the dealership announced in a press release on Wednesday.

"It's exciting to now be able to include one of Britain’s prized motorcycle brands within our motorsport assortment at Kahuna," said Kahuna Powersports owner Joe Linardi. "Norton's design and style has always caught my eye. It’s a very exciting opportunity for us to be a part of the British sport motorcycling culture in Toronto. Kahuna is incredibly enthusiastic to be able to bring Norton’s 'road-hugging' heritage to our customers.”

A celebratory reception was due to be held Wednesday evening as part of the introduction.

"Norton Motorcycles Canada is proud to be able to bring the new range of hand built, Norton Motorcycles, clothing and accessories back into the country," stated Peter Howes, Director Norton Motorcycles Canada Ltd. "We are very pleased to join Kahuna Powersports of Toronto to bring Norton products back into the Greater Toronto area.

"As a lover of classic bikes, we know the owner, Joe Linardi and his team will provide the sales and support Norton lovers deserve and expect.”
