From canadiandragbike.com

Anticipation is high as the date draws closer for this year's installment of the Suzuki Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout. Just one month away, the sixth annual running of this event will be held at Grand Bend Motorplex on Aug. 10.

The Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout is a motorcycle drag race designed for highly modified Pro Street-style sportbikes utilizing nitrous oxide or turbocharging. Races are heads-up, first to the finish line wins. All makes are welcome. Nearly $3000 in cash and prizes will highlight Canada's ultimate Pro Street motorcycle drag race.

The race is held at Grand Bend Motorplex, an IHRA National Event facility which features a world-class racetrack and top notch amenities. It's a fun, relaxed event for race teams, families, motorcycle groups and individuals alike.

This year the Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout is held in conjunction with the Hully Gully Summer Sizzler All-Bike Drags, which features classes for all riders - from professionals to first-timers. Classes include the Canadian Fastest Streetbike Shootout, Kevin Blackmore Memorial Quick 16, Super Bike/Sled, Streetfighter, Harley V-Rod Destroyer and more.

Will anyone break Bud Yoder's event records of 7.441 seconds and 197.15 MPH? Will Team Canada be able to hold back the US crew?
