Inside Moto-X & Off-Road sponsors CEC

From Inside Track Communications

TORONTO, ON -- Inside Moto-X & Off-Road magazine has become title sponsor of the six Amateur classes in this year’s Canadian Enduro Championship. The Inside Moto-X & Off-Road Amateur Championship will see the six Amateur class champions in each of the eastern and western portions of the CEC receive a trophy and a prize package.

“From the time we launched Inside Moto-X we have always put an emphasis on the up and coming racers and the ‘weekend warriors’ that are such an integral part of our sport,” said Derek Rockel, senior account executive with Inside Moto-X & Off-Road. “With our renewed focus on the off-road racing scene in Canada in addition to motocross coverage, this award is a perfect fit.”

Inside Moto-X & Off-Road’s sister publication, Inside Motorcycles sponsors the Top Junior Award in the CEC. Both magazines are published by Inside Track Communications of Toronto.

The prize packages consist of an Ogio Camel Back, Ogio Fanny Pack, Enduro Engineering hand guards and bark busters (courtesy of Lachapelle Racing Products and Enduro Engineering), Nexo jersey, Tirox chain cleaner and a one-year gift subscription to Inside Moto-X & Off-Road.

The packages will go to the eastern and western champions in the Amateur A, B, C, Vet, Super Vet and Ladies classes.

“We are very excited to expand our relationship with Inside Track Communications through Inside Moto-X & Off-Road magazine,” said Lawrence Hacking of World Enduro Canada, which sanctions and organizes the CEC. “It is always gratifying to have someone step up and support the Amateur ranks in our sport.”

The CEC opens in Blairmore, AB on July 4-5 before moving to Penticton, BC on July 11-12. The series then goes to Labelle, QC on Sept. 12-13 and Parry Sound, ON on Sept. 19-20.

World Enduro Canada organized rounds of the World Enduro Championship in Parry Sound in 2006 and 2007 and last season sanctioned the Corduroy Enduro and Parry Sound Grand Prix. In 2009 it will organize and sanction national enduro, cross country and observed trials competition. More details can be found at www.worldendurocanada.com.
