Podium sweep for Jervis

By John Hopkins

Victoria's Oiver Jervis took two victories and a pair of third place finishes in the fourth round of the WMRRA series in Seattle last weekend.

Despite feeling under the weather throughout the weekend Jervis won twice on his Zlock Racing 'ZRSV' in LW Superbike and MW GP Twins and took Zlock's Kawasaki ZX-6R to third place results in 600 Supersport and 600 Superbike.

Jervis had an easy run to victory in LW Superbike after his two main rivals crashed, without injury, in turn three on lap two. He then parlayed his best start of the day to lead all the way in MW GP Twins.

Jervis spent the 600 Supersport race battling for second with Mike Sullivan but was unable to prevail. The Zlock Racing rider was more competitive in 600 Superbike the next day, leading early on before again settling into a battle with Sullivan for second place.

"I tried Mike several times but he held me off to the line," Jervis said. "We were closer, but man, I wanted to win."
