Lean Angle to sponsor Bevan in SOAR

From Lean Angle

OTTAWA, ON – Michael Bevan will be revving up his 2009 Yamaha YZF-R6 through the remainder of the 2010 season with new sponsor Lean Angle (leanangle.ca), the exclusive Canadian distributor of Tech Spec Gripster tank pads.

Bevan, the 2009 SOAR Racing Series Novice Superbike, 600 Extreme and Open Sprint champion, is a major contender in the Regional 2010 SOAR Racing Series. He has 10 years of riding experience and three seasons of competitive road racing behind him.

“He is a fierce competitor and a skilled professional both on and off the track,” said Steve Reed, president of Lean Angle. “We’re so proud to have such a great racer as an ambassador for the TechSpec Gripster pads.”

Bevan said he is very happy to have the support of Lean Angle for the final half of this racing season.

“Bevan Motorsports is thrilled to be involved with Lean Angle,” he said. “The addition of the Gripster tank pads at the mid point of the season has proven to reduce rider fatigue and has provided an increased level of comfort.”

Bevan will next be on track for the fifth round of the SOAR Racing Series at Cayuga, ON's Toronto Motorsports Park Sept. 10–12.
