Christie prepares for Red Bull tryout

From Turn 2 Racing

HAMILTON ON – Canadian National Amateur 600 Champion and AMA Red Bull Rookie hopeful Jodi Christie will get some additional track time at Calabogie Motorsports Park next Monday courtesy of the Turn 2 ARC in preparation for his upcoming Red Bull Rookie tryout.

Christie will take to the Calabogie circuit aboard a Honda 125 GP motorcycle lent to him by Roland and Kenny Reidman.

John Sharrard of Accelerated Technologies and former Canadian 250GP Champion will be on hand teaching Turn 2’s ARC Level 2 course and will spend some one-on-one time with Christie on the track and in the pits to help with bike setup. Sharrard has been helping the Roz-Gar Racing rider all season long in his quest for the regional and national titles.

Christie will be accompanied by numerous riders looking to improve their skills by taking advantage of Turn 2’s ‘Free’ Advanced Riding Course (ARC) Level 1 and Level 2 on Monday.

"I'm looking forward to seeing what Jodi can do on a 125," said Turn 2 owner George Budacki. "I've seen him on a 600 and I really believe he has a shot at the Red Bull Cup."
