Toronto Motorcycle Show gears up

From the Toronto Motorcycle Show

TORONTO, ON -- The Toronto Motorcycle Show, the Canadian motorcycle and ATV industries’ premier motorcycle, scooter and ATV event, announced on Tuesday an exciting line-up of features and entertainment including the Extreme Globe stunt show featuring teenaged stunt riders Cody and Kyle Ives.

Extreme motorcyclist, Hollywood stunt rider and host of "SuperBikes," Jason Britton will also be appearing at the show.

The Toronto Motorcycle Show, one of seven Canadian motorcycle and ATV shows owned by the Motorcycle and Moped Industry Council (MMIC) and Canadian Off-Highway Distributors Council (COHV), will be held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from Friday, Dec. 12 until Sunday, Dec. 14.

"There are hundreds of thousands of Canadians who have a passion for riding, and with rising gas prices and the growing issues of traffic congestion and carbon emissions, there are even more people discovering the benefits of owning cost-efficient, fuel efficient and environmentally friendly two-wheel vehicles like motorcycles and scooters," said Darryl Bond, Show Manager.

"The Toronto Motorcycle Show is the industry-sanctioned official launch event for the MMIC’s seven-city road show where their members will introduce their hottest new rides for the coming year."

Other features will include the Yamaha Riding School for Kids. Yamaha Canada and Canadian Motorcycle Training Services will present a free opportunity for kids aged 6 - 12 (certain conditions apply) to take a ride on the latest Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycles.

Also, Mark Nash, Executive Director of the Canadian Peregrine Foundation (CPF), and his wife Marion will present their crowd pleasing Bikes and Live Birds of Prey showcase featuring Falcons, Eagles, Owls and Hawks.

The show will be held in the South Building of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Admission is $15 for adults, $9 for juniors (aged 6 to 15) and children under six years get in free when accompanied by an adult. There is also a Family Pass (two adults & two juniors) available for $36.
