From Nadine Lajoie
Female Canadian racer Nadine Lajoie continued her trip in the West Coast with WERA West at Buttonwillow Raceway last weekend.
Although she struggled all weekend to learn the track, her lap times improved a lot on Saturday afternoon and Sunday during the races.
In the last race of the weekend Lajoie finished seventh in B Superbike.
"I was chasing a guy and dropped my best lap time of the weekend by more than two seconds, consistently," she said. "I will go home with a smile. Racing is not as much fun when you know you are slower than usual."
In Middleweight Solo and C Superbike, Lajoie finished 12th and 14th, respectively.
