New livery for Pegram Racing

From Ducati North America

CUPERTINO, CA – This weekend at Infineon Raceway, Pegram Racing will be unveiling the new livery for the LeoVince Foremost Insurance Ducati 848 Formula Extreme race bike.

Just a few miles from the headquarters of Ducati North America and Leo Vince USA, the Bay Area race is home to two of Pegram Racing’s title sponsors and legions of passionate Ducatisti. With these factors in mind, the renowned Sonoma race track presents a natural opportunity to showcase the innovative new looks of Pegram’s 848 and reward the ‘home’ crowd with a special treat.

Designed by John Mockett, stylist of many motorcycles and illustrator of the cartoon “Sprocket”, the 848’s new livery is a bold departure from Pegram Racing’s traditional Ducati racing scheme. Painted by John Bisson of Finishing Touch and incorporating elements from historic Ducatis as well as the OEM 848 colouring, the Mockett designed artwork strikes a fresh direction that matches the vibrant personality of team owner and rider Larry Pegram.

“With round 4 of the championship being in the backyard of two of my title sponsors, not to mention the many Ducati fans in the Bay Area, Sears Point is the perfect place to show off my new paint," Pegram said. "I love it and hope everyone will stop by to see it up close.”
