Women's event in Ohio

From Women Riders Now

SANDUSKY, OH -- The largest women and motorcycling event to hit Ohio in recent years is taking place during Ohio Bike Week, a week-long rally from June 6-15, in Sandusky, OH.

"Women Riders: No Limits" presented by Motolight is a three-day mini-conference focusing on educating and entertaining female riders June 12-14. The event is being organized by Genevieve Schmitt of Women Riders Now. Ohio Bike Week has attracted more than 100,000 people in recent years to the week-long rally.

"Women Riders: No Limits" presented by Motolight consists of three days of women-focused vendors with a day-long slate of four seminars on Friday, June 13. The seminars are: "Know Your Motorcycle: an introduction to motorcycle maintenance" presented by Sara Liberte of Garage-Girls.com; "Lifting a Downed Bike & Other Confidence Builders"; "Secrets from Veteran Riders: Lessons Learned the Hard Way" consisting of a panel of esteemed female long distance riders and moderated by Genevieve Schmitt; and "Be the Best Rider You Can Be: Street Survival Strategies" put on by Susan Rzepka Orion, an MSF Rider Coach and WomenRidersNow.com Riding Right columnist.

The seminars are free and open to both women and men. The event takes place inside the Sandusky State Theater at 107 Columbus Avenue in Sandusky.
