Female riders head for Mosport

From Motoress

TORONTO, ON – Now that summer has truly started, people are jumping on their motorcycles to enjoy the fresh air and open roads. On July 6 women will learn to make the most of this experience and improve ability with Vicki Gray, through her company MOTORESS, during a day geared specifically to women at Canada’s Mosport Rider Development track.

“The aim of the women’s track day is to provide an environment free of performance pressure that assists women in taking that next step in their riding skill development, while becoming better acquainted with the ability and performance of their own motorcycle,” says Gray. “It goes without saying how much fun women have at a track day like this.”

Although this is not a track school, the objective nonetheless is to provide resources to assist in making the most of the day, advancing the skills of each participant at their various and individual levels. Women receive coaching on cornering methods, higher speed techniques, braking performance and any other challenges they wish to overcome – all provided by experienced female on-track coaches as mentors and role models.

The day targets not just newcomers to the track, but those who have experienced the track before with sessions to accommodate these various levels. First time riders receive a mandatory training session before getting started. There are also contests, prizes, vendors, demo rides and much more.
