Parry Sound to host Enduro opener

From worldendurocanada.com

Parry Sound will host the first round of the Canadian Enduro Championship Series Sept. 13-14.

This closed course event will be based on the World Championship format with multiple loops and three special tests per loop.

Separate lines for Amateur and Pro classes in some special tests will be provided.

The event will be scored electronically with transponders fixed to machines.

Future WEC events will be scored this way and participants will be required to purchase their own transponder. Transponders will be “rented” on the day with a deposit left in the amount of the purchase price.

It is estimated the one time purchase price will be $25. Transponders will be used for scoring in future Enduro and Hare Scramble events.

This event will be held entirely off-road. No plates or drivers licenses are required.
