Fund established for injured Trevitt

Recently, Canadian motojournalist Andrew Trevitt was severely injured in a street bike incident involving a u-turning auto near his current home in Los Angeles.

Trevitt was tire testing at the time as part of his job as senior editor of Sport Rider magazine. Trevitt suffered multiple injuries including paralysis to his back, and required surgery to repair his elbow, back and facial injures.

Trevitt is a former frontrunner in Canadian and AMA Pro 250cc Grand Prix action, and also served as a factory Suzuki Superbike rider on the Canadian national tour in the late 1990s. His older brother Peter was also a top Pro racer, while second brother Stephen tuned for both his siblings.

Andrew Trevitt lived near London before relocating to Ottawa following university. He began writing for Cycle Canada magazine before relocating to California to work at Sport Rider.
