Women's Cup branches out in '09

From the Women's Cup Challenge

TORONTO, ON — Fresh off their debut in the Dominican Republic, the ladies of the Women's Cup Challenge are already getting ready for what promises to be an even more exciting racing season in 2009.

The series will begin at Shannonville in May and end in December at the Autodromo Mobile 1 in the Dominican Republic where the 2009 champ will be crowned.

The full schedule is as follows:
April 28-29 National Test, Jennings, FL
May 15-17 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Long Track, Shannonville, ON
May 22-24 Calabogie Motorsports Park-Long Track, Calabogie, ON
June 12-14 ICAR, Montreal, QC
July 17-19 Mosport International Raceway, Bowmanville, ON
Sept. 4-6 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Pro Track, Shannonville, ON
Sept. 25-27 Shannonville Motorsport Park-Pro Track, Shannonville, ON
Dec. 5-6 Autodromo Mobile 1-(Expert Only), Dominican Republic

The 2009 Women’s Cup Challenge will be run in conjunction with help from PMP and the Parts Canada Superbike Series, RACE and the Dominican Superbike National championship.

The WCC runs both Novice and Expert ladies roadracing classes based on national spec rules. Pirelli is the official tire of the WCC.
