EDR teams with Galster

From EDR Performance

PORTLAND, OR -- EDR Performance is pleased to announce a partnership agreement with AMA road racer Josh Galster. Galster will compete in the entire AMA Supersport series, alongside Slednecks Racing teammate Misti Hurst. Both riders will race EDR Performance prepped, 2007 Kawasaki ZX-6R's.

"Josh is an awesome guy and is doing incredibly well in his first season of AMA racing," said Eric Dorn of EDR Performance. "We are impressed with his accomplishments thus far and are excited to be able to provide some much needed support."

Galster began racing with the MRA in Colorado in 2004 where he won the Rookie of the Year award, despite having a stock SV650, complete with a turkey basting pan safety wired to the bike as his belly pan.

In '05 and '06 he raced the WERA West series and held the championship plates for Lightweight Twins, Superstock and Superbike for both years. For '07 Galster purchased a new Kawasaki ZX-6R and won the C Superstock and B 750 Supersport Championships while also finishing third overall in C Superbike. He accomplished all this while maintaining a full time coaching position with the world-renowned California Superbike School.

"I am so excited about racing with the most elite riders in the country," said Galster. "I'm also thrilled about our partnership with EDR Performance. They have been supporting Misti since the middle of last year, and Eric was an awesome help at our most recent race weekend at Fontana. I'm certain that their work is going to have very positive results for my riding."

EDR Performance brings over 10 years of experience on the track and on the dyno to its work building winning motors, tuning EFI and providing professional trackside support.
