From Team LocoMartin.com
The 2009 season will be a important one for Ste-Julie, QC based dealer, Sport Collette Rive-Sud.
For the first time in its history, the dealership will be represented among the best Pro riders in Canada as it puts its weight behind Martin Grandé for a second year during his rookie Pro season. The 31-year-old Grande will race a new Suzuki GSX-R600 painted by the artists of Brodeur Moto Sport based at Ste-Madelaine, QC in the national Yoshimura Pro Sport Bike Championship.
Suzuki Sport Collette and Kimpex will also support Suzuki SV650 Cup contender Philippe Massé, 27, who will benefit from the experience of Grande, the 2007 class champion.
Both bikes will be built by Sport Collette and tuned by ace mechanic Patrice Goyette.
The main goal for both riders is to prove that good results are possible with a small budget through perseverance and focus. Grande will be gunning for the HJC Pro Rookie of the Year title and the top 10 in the Pro Sport Bike class. Masse is hoping to reach the Suzuki SV650 Cup podium.
The team has also announced that MOTOMAG.TV has accepted an invitation to the Québec rounds, which will be featured in a 30-minute segment on RDS. Canal Z will also assist on the weekend, presenting Grande in its new show Les Trippeux.
This season would not be possible without the help of Fast Eddy, all Collette's mechanics, J-Précision, Tecnar, Moto Secours, Boutique St-Urbain et Miss Swiss, Motomag.TV, ASM, Patrice Goyette, Fc51custom.com, MIS Cargo, Prinoth and Pirelli.
