East meets Western style Mini Roadracing

From Fox Family RoadRacing Ltd.

CALGARY, AB -- Western Canadian Mini Roadracing will be introduced to Eastern Canada during the evenings of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship series at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, ON July 9-11.

Under the direction of AMRA President, Jay Fox, and a crew of Western Mini Roadracers, evening ‘demonstration style’ sessions will take place at the Mosport Rider Development Track after the day's events are completed at the main track.

“Western Canadian Mini Roadracing is all about family," Fox said. "Want to link with your children? Compete with them head to head on an equal playing field. Families that race together, win together.”

Practice sessions will take place Friday evening, with qualifying on Saturday for the main event -- round 8 of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship's Honda CBR125R Challenge. Racing will take place on Sunday evening.

Registration for this event can be done during slow periods at the Parts Canada Superbike Championships Registration area or onsite Friday evening during the practice session. An online registration form will also be released shortly.

All bikes are required to pass tech and must meet CNMRA standards. The CNMRA rulebook is available online at www.amra.ca under the Rules and Regulations section.

Watch for the full schedule to be released soon.

Questions may be forwarded to Fox at amra@shaw.ca.
