Name change for BMW team

From BMW Motorrad Canada

The Rush HD/BMW Motorrad Canada Superbike Team is no longer. After two successful pre-season tests and an encouraging start to the 2010 Parts Canada Superbike Championship at ICAR, the team was informed of some exciting changes coming to its partnership with Rush HD.

As of Aug. 23 Rush HD, Canada’s adventure channel will be changing its name to radX. Inspired by man’s thirst to explore the limits of Risk, Adventure and Danger, radX goes to the eXtreme edge and tests the limits of your comfort zone all without the compromise of endless streams of commercial interruption found elsewhere. New to radX this fall will be great action films, epic documentaries, war movies and extreme expeditions, bringing High Definition home theatres to vibrant life.

As for the marketing partnership between High Fidelity HDTV and BMW Motorrad Canada, the superbike team will be launching its new design at Race City Motorsport Park, rounds 2-3 of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship June 24-27. All new team colours, riders leathers, team pitshirts, support vehicles and S1000RR race bike paint schemes will be unveiled along with a new team name: radX / BMW Motorrad Canada Superbike Team.

“We are very excited to be part of this transformation from Rush HD to the new radX HD,” said Chris Duff, Manager, Motorrad Marketing. “We had some advance notice that a change could happen however the change has been bigger than we first thought. This just adds to the excitement of racing in the top superbike class in Canada.”

The radX HD / BMW Motorrad Canada Superbike Team is proudly supported by its racing partners High Fidelity HDTV & radX HD, Joe Rocket Canada, Pirelli, Original BMW Parts, Hotbodies Racing, Hindle Exhausts and Acceleration Racing.
