MISANO ADRIATICO, ITALY – The Pirelli Diablo Superbike tires used to set record times in the Superpole on world-class circuits will now fly each host country’s flag for the six remaining races of the Superbike World Championship.
The personalized Superpole labels will debut mid-season at the Misano World Circuit, honouring its host by featuring the blue and white flag of San Marino along with the word SUPERPOLE, identifying the tires to be fitted by the 20 participants in the final qualifying. Two printed white stripes around the centre of the tires will be visible on newly fitted tires and when these stripes are scrubbed off on the first lap, the labels will remain for further identification by TV and spectators.

"Superbike fans can be assured that we deliver the technologies developed in WSBK to street product, but it’s our pleasure to also offer this interesting design feature to WSBK fans and spectators that is available as part of Pirelli Moto’s premium street range.”
