Third KINI FULLGAS Day celebrates motor sports in style

From KTM

Austria - Heinz Kinigadner again expressed his passion for the entire spectrum of motor sports when he hosted the third annual Kini Fullgas Day, when the tiny town of Uderns in the Austrian Zillertal was transformed into a veritable Mecca for motor sports aficionado.

Kinigadner, one of the great exponents of offroad motorcycling offered fans of motorized speed and style the opportunity to rub shoulders with a whole crowd of motor sports greats and to get up close and personal with the machines of their dreams. Whether it was gliding behind the wheel of the already iconic KTM X-Bow roadster, gasping at the Flying Bulls air show or taking in the dazzling array of machinery and the men who make it perform, the third Fullgas Day was action packed for all who attended.

As well as the KTM X-Bow, Formula 1 machines, DTM autos, Enduro bikes, motocross machines, MAN Trucks and much more, the new, much acclaimed KTM 1190 RC8 was on display to thrill those attending.

Spanish rally specialist Marc Coma was on hand just days after the conclusion of the inaugural Dakar Series Rally through Hungary and Romania. Motocross greats past and present were there in the form of KTMs own Pit Beirer and Red Bull KTM factory team rider Tommy Searle next to famous B.A.S.E. jumper Felix Baumgartner and the Austrian skiing hero Matthias Lanzinger.

Formula 1 driver and youngster Sebastian Vettel from Germany was on hand to discuss the current season and as well as the nail-biting air show, adrenalin levels were raised by the FMX Freestyle Show by the KTM factory riders and a stunt show by stunt master Chris Pfeiffer of Germany.

The latest edition of the spectacular event in the homeland of the Kinigadner family was also visited again by Red Bull founder Dietrich Mateschitz and Dr. Rudi Knünz, Board of the KTM Power Sports AG.

All proceeds from Fullgas including a KTM lottery made 750 price winners a big smile, went to the Wings for Life Foundation which supports ground breaking, international research into finding a cure for spinal cord injury.
