Milford, NS's Adam Roberts won the opening round of the 250 GP division in the USGPRU East Coast Region series in Jennings, FL on the weekend.
According to results posted on roadracingworld.com, Roberts rode his RAT Racing Yamaha TZ250 to victory over the Honda RS250s of Steve Wenner and Melissa Paris, respectively.
Roberts also won last year's Jennnings opener on his way to the USGPRU 250 national title.
Garrett Gerloff claimed wins in the other two classes at Jennings, taking 125 GP and the Moriwaki MD250H spec victory.
The USGPRU East Coast season continues at Road America May 2-3.
Roberts is also sponsored by Pro Cycle, Kimpex and Ipone.
